The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art’s (MOCA) Exhibitions and Education Department works collectively to generate signature exhibitions and related educational programming. Our goal is to promote contemporary art makers and to expose the community to these artist’s ideas in order to stimulate and enhance social discourse. Within our exhibition spaces we provide interactive areas where guests may engage in hands-on activity. Additionally, we utilize advanced technology by supplying Quick Read (QR) codes for smartphones so our audience can gather further information.
